Absolutely stunning finished White over deep Red Leather...truly pristine inside and out!

Yes...you did read the mileage correctly...only 1k miles on this SPECTACULAR work of automotive art!

If there is one word that sets fire to the soul of a true car buff, it is the word Italian. For more than half a century, Italian design has been synonymous with elegance, power and grace.

The design studios carry names that are familiar to anyone who has paid even scant attention to the automotive scene. Ghia, Bertone, Giugiaro are among the big ones....

And then there is Pininfarina. The pinicle of Italian artistry...the design studio that brings you every Ferrari...and brought the world many of the most desirable and classic designs in automotive history...

The body of the Allanté was designed and built in Italy by Pininfarina. The completed bodies were shipped 3,300 miles from Italy in specially equipped Boeing 747s... 56 at a time...to Cadillac's assembly plant in Detroit. The bodies were then mated to the chassis.

Only 3,296 Allante were built in 1989, and only 21,430 were ever built worldwide throughout the entire production...

The Allanté was refined for 1989 by virtue of a larger 4.5 liter port fuel injection engine that provided increased power and improved performance. With 10 percent greater displacement, new low-restriction exhaust manifolds and improved flow air cleaner, the Allanté's engine had a 17 percent increase in horsepower and a 13 percent increase in torque. Its 0-60 mph time was improved from 9.5 to 8.3 seconds. Performance from 40 to 80 mph progressed from 12.3 to 10.3 sec. The Allanté's top speed increased from 125 to 135 mph.

Exterior changes for 1989 began with several improvements that took place in the Allanté's soft top. The lower well and relocated roller guides prevented fabric wear, a self-folding fabric eliminated the need for tucking and walking around the vehicle, the use of dual springs reduced lifting effort and a major reduction in body squeaks and rattles was achieved.

Both driver and passenger express-down windows were standard. Cadillac's VATS was also standard. A new seat design was used with a softer foam on cushion and back wings, along with softer wrinkled leather trim and French seams for the wings and head restraints. A softer trim was also used for the instrument panel, doors, armrests and upper door trim. An engine oil life indicator was now standard. The 1989 Allanté also had reversible and washable carpeted floor mats with retention features. Significant technical developments were also part of the 1989 Allanté package. A new speed-dependent suspension provided for a variety of ride/handling characteristics. At low speed the emphasis was on a greater sense of isolation and smooth road feel. At normal cruising speeds the suspension provided what Cadillac regarded as "traditional Allanté" ride qualities. For higher speeds the focus was upon stability without a significant loss of ride quality. This system also monitored braking and acceleration to reduce the rate of fore/aft movement. A new variable-assist steering system reduced pump output flow as engine speed increased. It also reduced parking and low speed effort while increasing steering effort and precision at higher speeds. In order to improve ride softness and road isolation the bushings and cradle mounts were retuned. New 16 in. x 7 in. wheels and Goodyear P225/55VR16 tires were standard.

This could be the lowest mileage 1989 Allante in the world...don't miss this opportunity to own the best...
